Consecration

New Bethel Church

Consecration Schedule

January 2020

Type of Consecration: Complete Fast Purpose of Consecration: The year 2020 will be a time when God completes some seasons of your life. The number 20 represents a period of time when waiting ends and completion is finalized. It also represents the season of redemption and restoration. In Genesis, we are reminded that Jacob worked and waited 20 years to realize the promise of his wife Rachel and other possessions he acquired before being released from his father-in-law Labon. We should also note that while Jacob was waiting on his breakthrough to materialize God caused the labor of Jacob to prosper. Regardless of the difficulties Labon presented to Jacob, God gave great favor to Jacob and he succeeded in spite of the obstacles. As we stand on the word of God, victory for our lives is always imminent!   We also know that Joseph followed a very similar path. Early in Joseph’s life, God showed him in a dream that his prosperity and his success would be enormous. Although Joseph experienced numerous seasons of setbacks in his life and each one could have resulted in his ultimate defeat, God sustained Joseph and brought the vision to fruition. God wants us to realize that every problem we face has a termination date. Consequently, every promise and every vision that God attaches to our life will come to pass. Remember, what Joseph saw in the dream is what he was destined by God to see in his future!   Application: We must FAST, PRAY, and GIVE as we walk toward fulfillment of God’s promise. We know that it is imperative that we bring our bodies into subjection through fasting. We are demonstrating our faith in God’s willingness and ability to manifest the promise in our lives through prayer. Every time the Lord’s logos (His word) becomes rhema (revelation), we must honor the Lord by demonstrating our gratitude through an offering or seed of thanksgiving.
