The mission of the Doris D. Murphy Scholarship Committee of New Bethel Church of God in Christ is to encourage, equip, and empower students in our church and community by providing financial support, mentorship, and prayerful guidance. We are committed to investing in the educational pursuits of our youth and young adults as they strive to fulfill their God‑given purpose.

Our vision is to see generations of educated, Spirit‑led believers who use their knowledge and gifts to glorify God, impact their communities, and build the Kingdom. Through scholarships and encouragement, we aim to inspire excellence and lifelong learning.

About Us
The Doris D. Murphy Scholarship Committee at New Bethel Church of God in Christ is a ministry dedicated to honoring the legacy of First Lady Doris D. Murphy by investing in the future of our youth. We believe education is a vital tool for kingdom building and personal growth. Through fundraising, scholarship awards, and spiritual encouragement, we work to help students overcome financial barriers and pursue academic success. Our prayer is that every recipient will not only excel in their studies but also walk in integrity, serve their community, and honor Christ in all they do.
